Huzzah! Rio's again!
Just saw some dates for a Faster Pussycat UK tour and was wondering whos in them nowadays,I heard Brent had left and they`d gone more Newlydeads,can anyone shed any light on the lineup/style for this tour before I shell out on tix...thanks [img]smile.gif[/img]

so it looks like it is the newlydeads with brent along on guitar. (i know it's not the popular stance here but) hopefully they will do a set of newlydead tunes as well.
first time i saw them they did a few tracks by the newlydeads..ooooooooooooooooo it were good.

The Newlydeads with Brent on guitar??? Ooookaaaaayyy...sort of true, but you guys DO realize that this has been FP's lineup for FOUR YEARS now right? I think they've earned the right to call themselves FP as they are.
And I may be going to one or two of the East Coast dates before they head overseas...GOTTA go see my boys! Even though I just saw them play in LA two weeks ago... [img]wink.gif[/img]
come on, ask any casual 80's/music/faster pussycat fan what the real faster pussycat line up is and they will say the wake me when it's over era line up. the one when they actually had a few hits.
we ALL know that Taime had no intentions of every doing faster pussycat again until the money happened to be there for it more then his newlydeads project. how can you not say that it's the newlydeads with brent on guitar. it's not like this was faster pussycat and then they decided to release a cd under the name the newlydeads. this was the newlydeads that started doing shows under the name faster pussycat for the money.
what has faster pussycat released in the last four years? the last thing they released as a real band was some 12/13 years ago. (i don't count greatest hits after a band broke up as a release)
doing a couple shows here and there for money, under the name faster pussycat, does not make one a band. this is the newlydeads with brent in tow. if there is a higher power watching over us he will make them play a set of newlydead tunes so i could be happy.
I remember last time they were here, 2 years ago, they were doing the good ol' 80s FP stuff here, but the darker stuff at the US shows.
If its a Faster Pussycat gig, hopefully Faster Pussycat is what we'll get.
